Buyer/Seller Beware. ECARS is unable to confirm the veracity of representations made in SWAP & SHOP listings.

You understand that in regard to the content of the ECARS SWAP & SHOP, including, but not limited to goods and/or services on the ECARS SWAP & SHOP web page and/or SWAP & SHOP information transmitted on ECARS nets ("SWAP & SHOP"), neither ECARS, its subsidiaries, affiliates, or their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents controls, provides, or is responsible for any goods or services listed on SWAP & SHOP. All such content, goods and services are submitted by third parties and are not part of ECARS or controlled by ECARS. ECARS neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, quality or availability of any content, goods or services available on SWAP & SHOP, which are the sole responsibility of such independent third parties, and your use thereof is solely at your own risk. THE CONTENT WITHIN SWAP & SHOP AND THE CONTENT WITHIN INTERNET SITES LINKED TO OR FROM SWAP & SHOP MAY INCLUDE TECHNICAL OR OTHER INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold ECARS, its subsidiary companies and their affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liabilities, claims, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorneys fees, arising from any claim(s) concerning SWAP & SHOP, any other policy, your use or access of SWAP & SHOP or any Internet site linked to or from SWAP & SHOP, or in connection with the transmission of any Content on SWAP & SHOP.

ECARS reserves the right to refuse to post any listing for any reason in its sole discretion without notice or obligation.

Basic Listing Requirements

To an item or items on Swap & Shop, items "For Sale" or "Trade" should include, at a minimum, the following information in the English language:

1. Reasonably accurate description of the item, including manufacturer and model, or whether it is home brew or kit;

2. The general condition of the equipment ("Excellent," "Very Good", "Good," "Fair," "Poor" or "Parts Only"; or a scale of 1 to 5); and

3. A price in U.S. Dollars for "For Sale" items and shipping terms (examples: "Buyer pays shipping"; "Shipping included");

4. First name, call sign and contact information (required e-mail address and Phone Number).

Notice: Listings that do not include these basic items, or submissions in all lower case or with unclear abbreviations, missing call signs, e-mail addresses, etc. may not, in ECARS sole discretion, be posted. ECARS will make no attempt to fill gaps in a submission.

Sample Listing:

"Kenwood TR-2500 hand held portable. Fair to good condition. With 1 Kenwood AO2-0620 battery and manual. $30.00 as-is plus shipping. Photos available upon request. Contact KA1XYZ, Jim at ka1xyz@hamradio123.com."

Please use proper capitalization and punctuation. Do not use abbreviations. The Swap & Shop list editor will abbreviate as necessary.

Listings in all lower case ("collins 30l1 amplifier") or all upper case ("COLLINS 30L1 AMPLIFIER") will not be posted. Use initial capitalization as shown in the sample listing above, e.g. "Collins 30L1 amplifier".

Sellers and buyers review the "Use Policy" set forth above. Be fair in listing items for sale. Disclose known material defects or problems in the listing. Sellers unwilling to provide such information should not list items on ECARS Swap & Shop.
